UBI

UBI means: Universal Basic Income or Unconditional Basic Income. In German it is usually called Bedingungsloses Grundeinkommen

UBI is commonly described as a form of social security in which all citizens or residents of a country receive a regular, unconditional sum of money, either from a government or some other public institution, independent of any other income.

From a commons perspective, a basic income could be conceptualized with support from the State but widely independent from central governance. The question is: can we think about UBI as a commons, both in terms of provisioning and governance or at least als Commons Public Partnership?
